Wilson and Davis in Decatur Co, IN

I am seeking information on Thomas Wilson who married Matilda Davis in Decatur Co in 1840. They had three sons, John Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and Joseph L. I believe Matilda to be the dau of David and Mary Thackrey Davis.

Thomas likely died in the cholera epidemic in 1849/50. He is listed on the mortality schedule for Salt Creek, Decatur, IN in 1850.

There are several Thomas Willson, and one Thomas Wilson in the 1840 Franklin Co census, making it possible that he was in Franklin Co at that time and removed to Decatur Co.

It is possible that Thomas Wilson was previously married with grown sons. Also, he might have had a brother named Daniel.

Any response is appreciated.
