YES!
I have LOTS on this family but the later generations were very difficult to find. I have been working on the descendants of Thomas Fortune of VA and Bath Co., KY for about 35 years now. This Thomas who married Catherine was a son of the elder Thomas Fortune. He was married previously and had two daughters by his first wife. Then the 1860 census shows he had TWO households in KY. One with catherine and a bunch of kids and the other with the eldest female named Rachel...I don't know who this is but possibly either his older daughter or possibly someone living in the household...but the children were similar names to the household with Catherine except the names were spelled differently and the ages were mixed up a bit. By 1870 they were in Indiana and then I started to lose them. Have had trouble finding the children as adults.
Marticia is a family name. Thomas SR and his fourth wife, Sally/Sarah Caseldine Peugh (my 3rd Great grandmother) had a Marticia also. My Marticia married first John Clark and then William Stevenson. I never knew if Thomas JR's daughter married or died. I did not find a marriage for her in Decatur Co., or Boone Co., IN.
I would really like to exchange info with you...e-mail me. Darline Duncan
