Joshua Jackson in Decatur Co 1823-1829

Joshua Jackson took land in Decatur Co in 1823 and possibly 1828 (second time Joshua and Martha). He was born about 1774, son of Joshua Jackson who died in Franklin Co KY in late 1803 or early 1804. In 1808 he & family moved with Rev Jesse Vawter family and several others to Madison, Jeff Co IN and started Crooked Creek Baptist Church. He bought the land in Decatur Co. and was in Marion Co. IN for 1830 Census (H&W 50-60 yrs) 2 sons in teens, 2 daughters. Are there any family lines still in Decatur?

Kate in St. Louis
