Robert Daniel Newman, bn 1829+/-, Penn
Posted by: James A. Newman Date: April 03, 1999 at 13:52:29

Looking for information on Newman's from Decatur County from 1830 to 1850. My Robert Daniel Newman, bn 1829+/- in Penn ended up in Shelbyville, Shelby County in 1847 @ age 19. He or his family moved to Indiana from Penn, perhaps via Ohio sometime after 1830. The only Newman's found in the vicinity of Shelbyville, Indiana in 1840 were in Decatur County. Any help appreciated.
