My husband's great-great grandmother was a Winterow/Winterrowd from that area.
Nancy Winterrowd, and we have a lot of their family history and probably can make a connection; she was born in-near Norristown, Shelby county, IN. Her parents were David and Judith (Wolf) Winterrowd. The name was spelled several ways right in the same family group. After looking through the family index, I found an E.M, there was an Effie M. From the others, they could have been cousins.
