Allen and John Boyse of Dearborn County circa 1820/30

I have located Allen and John Boyse in the Federal Census for 1820 and 1830 in Dearborn County. I believe that Allen may be my 3x great grandfather and John, a possible son (he was listed in the 1830 census separate from Allen). As you are aware the 1820 & 1830 censuses only list head of household and number of people in household by ages. My 2x great grandfather was Washington Boyce (note spelling) of Mt Vernon, Posey County, Indiana. The Boyce name had many spellings: Boys, Bois, Boyce, Boyse, and in one listing Washington's last name was spelled Bauis. Washington was born on September 1 1813 and we believe moved to Posey County in the 1830's. Is there somewhere I can go to verify children of Allen Boyse? Any help that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
Linda DeWitt Hughey
