I managed to collect 6 other decades of census records, but I didn't catch this one. (I did, however, locate Jerome McAdams living with his mother in the 1880 Dearborn County census. Her name is recorded as Ann, but her first name was Elizabeth. Apparently they moved there sometime after Sooter died in 1873.)

The "Suca" in this record is most definately Sooter (or Suter) Jr., who married Mary Jane Gibson on 18 Jan 1854. (Ohio County Marriage Book 1, pg. 162.)

I appreciate the time you spent looking into this. I'd never looked at this particular year and county, so you've helped me a lot.
