7 DeWitt children lost in Indiana1834-53
Posted by: Jay Date: March 13, 2001 at 19:49:35

William George DeWitt was born in 1834; his youngest sister was Sarah Catherine, born in 1852. Seven were born to Maria (Taylor) and Banghart DeWitt somewhere in Indiana in the intervening years. Dearborn is a most likely county. William married Sarah Murdock (b. PA) and raised a family in Newton county. After the father's death in 1853, Maria and her children moved to Illinois where Sarah married Henry Webster in Kankakee. Maria married Wm.Farrington and bore four more children. Any information from or about possible descendants is most welcome.
