Joseph & Mary Jane Craig, Dearborn Co.

I am looking for information on Joseph Craig and his wife Mary Jane Newton who lived in Dearborn County about 1861 to about 1863. They had two children, Charles and Sarah, who were born in Ohio. The family is on the 1850 census for Preble Co., OH. In 1861, their third child was born near Elizabethtown, OH(?). By 1863, Joseph had died and Mary Jane returned to Preble Co. and was remarried. I do not have any other information on Joseph's death other than I was told by a relative that the family had always said that he died as the result of an accident. If anyone comes across information on this family, please contact me. I would like to know if any record of the birth of Lydia Miranda Craig is known, a possible obit. in the newspaper for Joseph Craig, or a gravesite. I have no idea about what happened and do not feel comfortable just leaving Joseph without anyone knowing about him. Any clues would be appreciated. Thanking you in advance. Debbie
