1900 U.S. Census, Indiana, Daviess County, Washington; Alfred HORRALL, head, born Feb 1867, 33, married four years, farmer; Mary, wife, born Mar 1872, 28, married four years, two children born, two living; Pearl, dau, born July 1892, 6; Earl, son, born Aug 1897, 2.
Mary married only four years, but husband Alfred has a daughter Pearl six years old.
Who is the mother of this Pearl HORRALL born July 1892?
Or, is Pearl in fact a daughter of Mary BROWN?
Some claim that this Mary BROWN married, secondly, Abraham WHEATLEY. This is confirmed below in the 1910 census.
1910 U.S. Census, Utah, Box Elder County, Calls Fort; Abraham WHEATLEY, head, 49, second marriage, married 8 years; Mary, wife, 38, second marriage, married 8 years, four children born, four living. Included in the household are two children named HORAL: Pearl, step-dau, 16; Earl, step-son, 12. Then two children of Mary from the Wheatley marriage: Clara, dau, 6; Lora, dau, 2.
Now Mary has four children born with four living. These would be Pearl and Earl HORRALL plus Clara and Lora WHEATLEY.
