I think you will find they are the offspring of William Kearns-Kerns-Karnes, etc. and Ruth Wiggins who came to came to Daviess Co., IN from Harrison Co., KY with her sister Rachel and her husband Jabes(z) Osmon or Osman in the early 1800's.

I descend from their sister Cristen or Christian. Later generations used the spelling Christiana. I'll almost guarantee the "H" in the James H. Kearns' stood for Harvey. James Harvey Wiggins was their brother, and his name is carried forward in most of his sisters' lines.
