Brenda,
This will take some thought, but hopefully to an end.
I came to this message, having checked many of yours due to the names Meyers, Margaret with intial B. and Cunningham to whom I too am related supposedly.Notes from my mother, but only surnames with no connections to help.
Now here is my theory on this one. There was a Margaret Bird/Burd/Byrd/Fogle(German for Bird) that married a Marrs/Myers/Meyers/Maier/etc.He died 1870.I am in the process of learning more about Margaret, but believe her husband died from a war.No information had been found with my Neal lineage regarding dob or dob.Could be by the sounds of your message, she may have remarried. That might cover the Cunningham lineage.
Now as far as my Neal lineage to her, that is short of far fetched, but the line is supposed to go to Sherman/Scheur/etc or Schaeffer/Shaffer/Shafer/Woolley lines.
So if you would try to learn if the B. is for. Then if we're close I know a whole lot more.
It's taking me longer each to come up with connections with the brain injury they say.Really, I do, but oh what a challange genealogy is, gotta get something before they take all this away.
My Dad's family has already been deleted completely from the forum.I hate to think of learning something new.I finally got this figured out.
