John Ostler and others in PA>Coshocton County, OH>Clinton County, IN

I am trying to sort out the Ostlers who originated in Pennsylvania, moved to Coshocton County, Ohio, and then to Clinton County, Indiana (around 1840 and thereafter). I have John Ostler and his two wives, Susannah Jennings and Lavina Ostler, plus information on some of John's children by both wives. I am confused by the family relationships--there is a Jacob in Coshocton County (1830, 1840), who seems to be the correct age to be John's father, a William, who could be a brother of John's, a Hannah, who could be John's mother (if divorced from Jacob?) or an aunt, a Lydia Ostler West, who could have been a sister of John's or some other relation (one of his sons lived with her & husband Elijah West in 1850). A George W. Sipes also appears to be somehow related to the family.

Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? I would appreciate any help sorting it out and would be happy to share the GEDCOM I've developed with source information.

Thanks!

Linda
