I would like to speak with anyone with info on the William and Harriett Steen family of Clinton County Ind.
from census records (1850 - 1870)I have learned that william was b abt 1818 in Ohio and Harriett was b abt 1820 in Va.
they had at least 5 children and William possibly had a brother named Samuel.
One of these children was George W Steen b abt 1854 in Indiana. He was one of the 3 younger children all born in Indiana the 2 older ones were born in Ohio.
I am trying to see if there is a connection between this George and my gg grandfather George W Steen who was born about the same time possibly in Indiana.
