Thomas Spenny and Rebecca Coons were married in Ohio in 1840.
They were in the Clay Co. IN census of 1860.
Thomas 40, Rebecca 39, Harrison 20, Milton 18, Isaac 14, David 11, and Lewis 6.
Then they all seem to disappear. Not in IN, not in IL. They don't show in any 1870 census under the Spenny name. They had 5 boys, they could not just vanish.
Thomas' parents went to Fulton Co. IL in the 1840's.
If anyone knows anything about this family I would love to hear from you. And would be glad to trade any info about the Spenny's I have.
