Does anyone have access to "Clark County, Indiana abstracts of wills and executors 1801-1833, and marriage records 1807-1824" ?
My ancestor James Gore was b. May 27, 1813 in Clark County, Ind. He was in Des Moines, Iowa in 1841 where he married. I am looking for his parents.
In the 1820 Indiana Federal Census there are
Levi Gore in Jefferson County, Ind
Frederick Gore in Jackson County, Ind
in the 1840 Iowa Federal Census there is a William Gore.
I might assume that James Gore could have inherited from his Gore parent(s) in Clark County and/or maybe his parents married in Clark County between 1807 and his birth.
Family writings say that the forefathers of James Gore had settled in Kentucky.
Any help would be most appreciated.
