Hi again Reb, seems we have the same William Kern, this is some of the info I have on him, (some on my own and some from another reseacher)
William Kern b. Dec 27 1846 Nassau, Germany d. Dec 14 1929 New Harmony Indiana.buried Maple Hill Cemt, New Harmony IN.
married(1st) Elizabeth(she went by Eliza) Daily b. Sept 25 1848 in Clark Co. Indiana she died June 25 1887 Posey Co.IN.
and is buried in Stoneberger Cemt.
William may be buried next to his 2nd wife Eliza Jane Harris(not her maiden name she was a widow) who went by the name Jenny, she was born Feb 20 1848 and died Jul 31 1911.
Johannes (Andrew) Kern was my husband's GGgrandfather, he is buried in the Ebenezer Cemt. in Clark Co.beside his wife Catherine Burgis Kern. We have been there and seen these graves. The Cemetery is well kept and still in use.
You may feel free to E-mail me direct. Thanks Caralyn
