Thomas McCann, one of Boone County’s most prominent residents, died last Friday at his home near Elizaville. He had been suffering with strangulated hernia and a surgical operation was resorted in hopes of giving him relief. He withstood the operation well, but later began to grow worse, and gradually sank away. He was sixty-six years of age and leaves a wife, two daughters and one son.
