Hanora O誰eal

Hanora O誰eal, daughter of Daniel Calhan and Mary Tunel, was born in County Limerick, Ireland, in the year 1812. She was united in marriage to John O誰eal in 1854. To this union were born two children- the daughter Mary lived to be a young woman and the son died in infancy. Her husband died in 1893. She is survived by only one sister. Mrs. Timothy Lane, one and a half miles east of new Ross, with whom she has made her home for several years. She also leaves many nieces and nephews to mourn her departure.

Aunt Nora as she was usually known, was a kind, genial disposition, and loved by all who knew her. She departed this life Feb. 15, 1907, aged ninety- five years, at a Home for the Aged, Little Sisters of the Poor, at Indianapolis. Funeral was from St. Bernard痴 Catholic Church, Crawfordsville, and burial at Calvary cemetery.

Note from Janet Price; I am posting this obituary for others. I am not related to the subject. The ink is blurred so it is very hard to read her father's name. It is either Calhan or Calban.
