1921 Barn of Annie Steirwalt Destroyed by Fire

Jamestown Press
Boone County Indiana
Friday, July 8,1921
Surname: Blunk & Steirwalt

A large barn of Annie Steirwalt farm north of Advance was destroyed by fire about 3:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon. Lightning was the cause of the blaze. A considerable quantity of grain and farm tools owned by Charles Blunk, who lives on the farm, were burned. The loss was partially covered by insurance.

Note from Janet Price; I am posting this story for others. I decided to post it because it mentions the surname of a renter on the farm. I am not related to the subjects.
