William Sharp land location
Posted by: A. Sharp (ID *****7504) Date: September 27, 2012 at 19:27:08
  of 585

William H. Sharp appears in census returns for 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880 in Columbus Township.

In 1850 he reported land worth $225; in 1860, worth $1600; and in 1870, $2000 (shown as his wife's).

Would like to know the location of his land(s) - section, township, range.

He was married 24 Dec 1840 in Henry Co., KY, to Elizabeth Moore. From the census, it appears that he moved to Indiana about 1845.

Did he at any time own the SW 1/4 of Section 20, T9N, R6E?
