There were several Kemp families in Butler Co. OH, 1850, then in Clifty Twp., Bartholomew Co. IN, 1860. Don't see any Joseph or John of suitable age for Civil War service. What do you know about them? Ages? Places of birth? Listed on census? These Kemps came from Delaware, early to Ohio, then to Indiana early 1850s. Several other families came from Butler Co. to Clifty/Newbern area, about the same time.
