There is no will or probate record for your William Noblitt in Bartholomew Co., nor do I find any marked grave. Preachers were notoriously POOR, since they often traveled far & wide to minister and couldn't do much farming; and their congregations could never afford to pay them much. So William probably didn't have an estate to probate; nor was there any money for a stone marker. (They were expensive then, as now!) Who was his wife and what were the names of the children? I have done some Noblitt research in Bartholomew, as they connect with my Cooley family. These are mostly descendants of John Noblitt and Jane Ferguson. John DID have a brother William, born in North Carolina about 1804; don't have any more data on him, but he could be the William you're looking for.
