Could you tell me if any of the Reed family married a Becraft or Bicort or anything close to these spellings. I have found a William Bicort (cousin?) aged 10 in 1880 census living with Benj. Reed, next to them is Eli Reed b 1808 and they have grandchildren living with was Nora age 10. I believe Nora and William Becraft married in Ripley Co., and have been trying to figure out WHICH William Becraft he may be. I have one the right age but he was supposed to have died before his 10th birthday. I have two others near the same age but have both married to others. I need to find out if this William was actually another grandson of Eli Reed...possibly his father died in Civil War. There are LOTS of Becrafts all over Indiana, KY, OH etc. and they seem to be somehow related but I need to know if this particular one is in my line.

I am hoping the bio in this book will mention the becraft connection. Thank you for your time...and thank you for putting the index online as you did with connecting family names. It will be a great help to many I am sure.
