I have a Joseph Beaty/Beatty/Batey/Battey who was born in KY in 1824. His father was William BEATY. The Beaty clan migrated to Bartholomew Co., IN, at some point before 1845 when Joseph married Elizabeth OWEN. Later William and Joseph migrated to Tipton Co., but William returned to Bartholomew Co. These Beatys were in Flatrock Twp. in the 1850 Census. Do you think Louisa might have a connection? Does anyone else have information on this family?
