Hi, I'm looking for a needle in a haystack. My ggggradfather William Jones came to St Joseph county Indiana in 1820. His family came here from Kentucky. On the way to Indiana his 15 year old brother stayed behind in Bartholomew County, IN. I have all of this from a family account written in 1923. There is alot of information but no name. This Jones married in Bartholomew county and had a large family (8 or 10 kids). The writer of the account said that the family had been back down to visit him many times. He supposedly owned about 820 acres. It was said that when he and his wife celebrated their 50th anniversary they had a big party attended by the whole county. This account would have my Jones born abt. 1805. If anyone can help me with this I would be very gratful and I have tons of info on the Northern In. side of the family to share.
