Trying to find out if Alexander & Wife Anne/Anna Ralston are buried in Bartholomew co...
think I found them listed in 1850 census Bartholomew Inda roll 136, Clay twp, p. 406, as Alexander Rulston age 58,(b. abt 1792-94) a farmer b. VA & Anna 65 (abt 1785) in Ireland, sons Alexander & Joseph b. in VA.

A land deed in 1845 in Brooke Co VA said Alexander & his wife Anne Atkinson Ralston were living in Bartholomew co Ind with children, James Marsh & wife Sarah Ann, James Atkinson & Jane his wife, William Atkinson & Salvina his wife, George Atkinson & Rebecca his wife, Robert Adams & Eliza Jane his wife, Thomas Atkinson & Margaret E. his wife all heirs of Thomas Atkinson deceased. There were 2 of her sons in Brooke, Isaac & John. Thomas Atkinson was Anne first husband. We think Isaac went to Kansas with a Wilson Ralston.

Ralston name has been found spelled all different ways,
Rolston, Ralstin, Ralstan, Rallston, Rallstone, Rulston, Ralson, even found it spelled as Dawlston in an obit with Ralston name spelled 3 different ways in the same paragraph..what a search it's been....
