anyone know history of Catholic parishes in Ft. Wayne?

I am trying to find copies of Catholic church records for my KELLY/KELLEY and STEVENS families in Fort Wayne. The KELLY family always attended St. Patrick's, while the STEVENS family attended the Cathedral.

Trying to find baptism records for Patrick KELLY, b July 1869, and John J. KELLY, b February 1876 at St. Patrick's, discovered that there were no such records on microfilm until 1891.

Question: when was that parish first established? If it wasn't in existence in 1869, did all Catholics in Fort Wayne attend the Cathedral at that time? Or was there another parish closer to St. Patrick's area where I could look for these baptismal records.
