Thank you,so much! the only other info I know about Melissa is her middle initial is A (Ann maybe,as that is Phebas) I know she owned her property in Milan Twp,and am assuming they sold it after they got married. After she married William Taylor,(and I found out later had son WILLIS Taylor on 3-27-1876 in Indiana) They moved to Cherry Grove Wexford Co MI,and were there in the 1880 census.William died at his home on or about Feb 17,1896.From there theres no sign of Melissa,we can't find death certs on EITHER of them (or 2 daughters that we KNOW died in MI) nor can we find any cemeteries where they are buried. There is one M Taylor listed in the Wexford Co death index Died Sept 11,1903,however this M Taylor is listed as a male and Widower and there was no reporting party,so I don't think it's her,as her daughter, step daughter, and son-in-laws,and several sons and grandchildren, somebody from the family would've reported it.
So I was really hoping there was a probate, gaurdianship,or land buy/sell record out there with some names on it Thank you again so much...but I'm starting to think I may never know where she came from (other than Ohio,) or where she went to,died or is buried....Lori
