Hello ! My name is Rosalie Adkins. I reside in Hartford City,Indiana.
I mess around with Volunteer Research for persons needing help in surrounding counties,when I can.
I read your Post,did some online checking for you.
I found a Death Date for your Lucretia Davies (Douglas),also found the Full Marriage Info where she married Henry Stacy.
If you'd like,I could possibly get you an Obit for Lucretia,it might provide some valuable clues,family wise.
Sometimes Marriage Records provide clues on families also.
For instance,if she was married to Samuel Douglas,and if he possibly passed away prior to her marriage to Henry Stacy,
the Marriage Record might provide this info,at least the year of his death.
These 2 sources sometimes provide valuable family info.
At least,we could give it a shot. Might provide you with some answers !!
Didn't find any Death info for Samuel Douglas there in
Adams County though.
The Decatur Library has the microfilm to try and obtain an
obit for Lucretia.
The Death Date for Lucretia is as follows:
Lucretia ( Davies ) Douglas - June 21,1888
