Looking for info on Homer E. Charleston whose mother was Elizabeth Hutchison. I believe that he was born in OH in 1860 father unknown. He was raised by mother until she married John W. Fetters in 1867. Then went by last name Fetters. Looking for any adoption info, church records, etc. In 1884 he married Mary Ketchum and used the last name Charleston. However, 1880 census still using last name Fetters. Trying to piece together his early life and who his father was and why he chose the name Charleston.
