Ship Names from Ireland to NB Canada
I hope someone can help me find the name of the ship that the O'Neils came from Ireland to NBrunswick Canada on. I think it was around the time of the Potatoe Famine in Ireland.
Other names: Sanderson, Hollander, Campbell O'Donnell
are associated with the O'Neils.
James O'Neil and wife(Bridge) and children: Ann, Elizabeth, Rose, Bridget, and the youngest daughter was Mary who was 11.Bridget(wife) died and is buried on Governor's Island.
Bridge O'Neil died on Govern's Island NB of Cholera (date?)
James O'Neil died at Westfield Beach NB Jan 10 1888 age 91.
Daughters: Rose would marry an Englishman named Sanderson and had a family of 3 girls and 1 son. One girl was named Mary Sanderson.
Elizabeth O'Neil never married but lived in Cambridge MA .
Mary(11 yearold)grew up married twice. (1) to a Mr Connelly who died young. They had two sons Warren who died at Sea in the Merchant Marines, and James who settled in Reading Maand married a woman from Gloucster. (2) James Campbell of Westfield Beach (NB-St John) They had 2 daughters Mary and Margaret.Mary would marry Joseph Philip O'Donnell of St John NB.They had 9 children, but the first 4 died shortly after birth. The others were: Mary Josephine,Philip Stanley, Ethel Agnes, Walter Thomas, and George Albert.
Any help greatly appreciated
