William Duncanson; Transported to Virginia 1742
Seeking info on an ancestor who was transported from Edinburgh, Scotland to 'the plantations' in Virginia in 1742 for the crime of stealing 164 guineas from the Earl of Breadalbane. William Duncanson was 16 years old, from Clackmannanshire. He is believed to have been joined on his voyage by his sister Christian Duncanson.
