Hi Laurie,

Well, you have done a lot of work! I know what you mean about being so close but yet so far. Wouldn't it be nice if you could find something like this for your Antoine - - this particular Andermann lived in Illinois and seems to have been an only child and also Lutheran so I am not suggesting any connection to you, just saying that these type of written county histories can be wonderful to find:
