Note that at the link above you will find a link to the Iron Range Research Center which has access to 1918 records..... By law he should have registered for the WW I Draft, even if he did not serve. All men who were of age were required to register. Where was Vaso in 1917-1918, when this registration took place.... even though I am certain that with all the hours I have donated to helping you that I have probably already looked for this record.
