Hello Kathleen,
Yes, it is 3:30 am and I am as excited as a kid on Christmas morning because of your response!

After much searching, I could never find the 1900 Fed. Census for my Bighouse/Bighaus family, so you can imagine the surprise I had when I checked my emails rather late tonight! Even my husband got out of bed when he heard me squeal.

What you found is right on....the names are all my relatives, and with an additional child, "Donny". We knew there were other children that did not live to now we have one more name.

However did you find the 1900 Census??? The only other one I am missing is 1910 for Carl and Carolina.

And how did you know their name? Do you speak Ukrainian? My cousins and I have been trying to properly spell the Vielecochaco name with hopes that we can find them in the Hampton Rhodes, Virginia immigrant lists. Do you know how to get to those lists?

One other question...why do you think Carl & Carolina, Donny, Katey, John, and Peter all have the last name of Hielesaclaco and the others have the last name of Vielecochaco in the 1900 Census?

Please know that your help means a lot to me! I send many thanks!
