Thanks!
I was starting down that path.I was searching on the New Family Search website...googled George Washington Hutton and found Eliza "Jane" second marriage to Frank Leabscher in the year 1898 in Clay County, Ill. (In the 1900 census they butched up the name to Leapshire) So I don't know the true spelling!!
I was looking at the census for 1900 and thought it was strange to see so many different people in the same household untl I got to the end and it said the end of the enumation of Clay County Poor Farm!! I was shocked but it did start to make since. Her new husband was naturalized 40 year prior (its on the 1900 census record!!)
Now what type of records do I need to look for the kids since they got sepreated at this time?
In 1990 Annie Gregory is with the Spangler family in DeSoto, Jackson Co., IL and baby brother James Gilbert is with the Royer Family in Friendsville, Wabash Co., IL listed as son..
1910 Annie is married to Solomon "Sod" Furlow and they moved to Williamson Co., IL, Then in 1920 Annie and James Gilbert (grandma said they found each other after WWI) are in Independance Co, AR living next door to each other!!)
Then in 1930 Gilbert remains in Independance Co., AR while Annie moves her family to White Co, AR.
So I have been doing some research...but now everything is starting to make a little more sense...it's a different research method then the other family lines...it's makes it more interesting :)
Thanks for your wonderful help :) Hopefully after working together we will put this family together!!
