Mary thank you so much for the info. I am convinced you are absolutely correct on Eliza Gordon and am pretty sure you are correct on George Atwell. All of his family immigrated to NYC and I couldn't figure why he sailed to Phila. I also have a quote of his saying that he sold a mule at age 22 to come to America. So the age fits. I still can't figure why he went to Phila but I think the 2 families had a connection in Ireland. But that will take more work. I thank you again for your excellant work Jim
