Herman Steinhauer? b. 1863? Immigrated 1880?

Does anyone have any information on Herman Steinhauer? He immigrated to the United States from Germany in about 1880 with his twin brother Gearhart and had their passage paid for by an a farmer (thought to have been from Illinois.)Both he and his brother worked for this farmer for a few years to pay it off before settling in Oregon to run their own farms. He was introduced to a woman who lived in Eddyville, Ohio through someone that he met and she had previously known. Her name was Mary A. Batcher, and she had a son named Alfred Wesley Batcher. Herman asked her to marry him and she remained in Ohio for a while caring for her ill mother before coming to join him in Oregon, Alfred joining them later and marrying Mable Wheeler.

Does anyone have any other information as to when and where Herman and/or his brother were officially born, whatever happened to his brother, who his parents were, other siblings, or anything of the Wheeler or Batcher lines? It'd help a lot. Thanks!
