My mother has an original photo of Emma Thorman. Her sister, Mae Ella, is my great great grandmother. I don't have any additional information for Hugh or Amelia that you dont already have, but I did put Emma's picture on geneaology.com.

My mother scanned the back of the photo as well. It was taken at Stevens art studio, Mcvickers theater building in Chicago. Let me know if you would like me to email you the photo and the back. I also have another picture of a similiar looking young woman taken in Chicago from the same family, but we don't know who she is. No one wrote her name in the place holder in the album like they did for Emma.
