Karin was the sister of my great grandfather Magnus P. Olson, who had emigrated from Sweden to Norway.
Karin Olsdotter, b. 1857,in Eda - Sweden, emigrated from Norway to America 1888/1889. I don't know where she settled first, but I think it was somewhere around Minnesota/Duluth. This is why:
In the late 60's, my grandparents visited their daughter (my aunt Karin)in Minneapolis. During their stay in the US, they also went to see relatives in Duluth. A couple of years later, Conrad (Konrad?) an Lenora (Leonora?)visited my grandparents in Oslo/Norway. Conrad was my grandfathers cousin, probably the son of Karin Olsdotter.
I would appreciate all information that could give a lead to further information about Karin Olsdotters life in America.
