Margaret and John Smith

Looking for information on the immigrants John and Margaret Smith. They were both born in Scotland and Margaret came to America (probably Boston) in 1846. Would like to know if they were married in Scotland or the US. Also when did John come over? They had several children after arriving in US.John may have worked as a laborer in Lowell Ma. in the 1850 census. In the 1860 census he was working as a bricklayer in Boston. The children were in 1860:John 12, Mary 10, James 6,Daniel 5,Charles H. 3,and Robert 10 months. Would also like to know were John and Margaret lived in Scotland. Any help would be greatly appreciated.--------------------Terry
