This site is great!
I found a Walther Immel who was born on 17 May 1849 in Dexheim, Germany and died in Baltimore. I am trying to find out if this is the Walter Immel who was my grandmother's grandfather.
My grandmother's maiden name was Helen Muller. Her mother was Bertha Immel (b. 14 Sept 1878 in Baltimore, d. 21 Mar 1949). According to my grandmother, Bertha Immel's parents were Walter Immel (b about 1850 in Germany) and Helene Graffe (b. 8 Dec 1849, d Feb 1907).

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
