I see you have a MEYER listed in your list of surnames with IMMEL. My husband's ancester was Peter (?)MYERS(MEYER/MIRES/ MAYER) who married a __?IMMEL about mid-1700's in PA (?). One of the children was a son Peter b. 1783 in PA who married Elizabeth SLICE in 16 Dec. 1816 in Wash. Co., MD. The marriage index has Peter as MAYER, which is spelled many ways.
Would this possibly be a connection with your IMMEL?

Thanks for any leads!
