My son Christopher introduced me to your work.
Your address is London, bear with me please
In 1943 I went overseas, and disembarked at the Imperial Forces Transit depot in Durban. The next day I went on parade and at the name Capt Imison I replied "Here" as did a voice further down the line. Needless to say we got together for a moment, he was off that day' I gathered that your family was intrigued by a Jack Imison in London, he was my Uncle. We got no further and had no contact.
I have some memories etc I will share. By the way my father was Charles Kenneth Imison. he was killed in one of the blood baths on the Somme just after I was born April 20th. 1916.
I believe Christopher gave you my data on the Halton connection
