I am Michael Imeson, father Wilfred, one of five sons - charles, gordon, wilfred, thomas, clifford and one daughter Lily of Masham, Yorkshire.
That is 2 miles from Grewelthorpe.
I moved away as a small child. My grandfather william died around 1930. He was a cooper at Theakstons brewery, Masham. He is buried in st mary church, Masham.
I know no more, but would love to. Could we share any of your line back to mid 1700s. It must be the same branch??
