Imhoffs From Hanover Germany 1855
I am holding a rendering of the ships manifest of the Bark Anna Delius from it's voyage, Bremen Germany to New Orleans U.S.A. 5 November 1855 The side note says the manifest was clearly written and easy to render save for it's age and some wear. aboard the Anna Delius this voyage were 12 Imhoffs Probably two families, Farmers from Hanover Germany Bound for Illinois (And some later, Highland Wisconsin.) On these manifests of the day they often list the children by the occupation of the father. The Imhoffs coming to America on this voyage of 5 November 1855 of the Bark Anna Delius with a port of entry being New Orleans are by passenger number;

181. MariannImhoffage 22FFarmerHanover
182.ElizabethImhoffage 14FFarmerHanover
183. MinnaImhoffage 4FFarmerHanover
These first settled in Illinois, Some I don't know which later resettled in Highland Wisconsin But this is the beginning of my line of Imhoffs in America With Heinrick, Passenger 176 and Elisabeth passenger 177 of the Bark Anna Delius which sailed from Bremen Germany on the 5th of November 1855, I have found 2 Imhoffs on muster rolls of Illinois Regiments during the civil war only one mustered out. There is an Imhoff Cemetery somewhere in Illinois. In Highland Wisconsin there is a cemetery with lots of Imhoffs Munz and Minters... all related. I would like to hear from Imhoffs In Wisconsin, Illinois or elsewhere who may be from this line.
