I received some clarifications from Roberta Iiams as apparently the 1933 version of Anne Arundel County Gentry Vol 2,had some errors which have been corrected in a 1971 edition. I have been looking for the 1971 edition but no luck. It seems to clear up the questions about tracing back Richard K. Have you seen this? Will be in northern Indiana and plan to track down Richard K.'s gravesite as my local contact Gloria Arndt who lives near Rolling Prairie, near La Porte and Westville got the cemetery lists. Will take a photo a send it. Am trying to find any pics which might be available of Richard K. Do you know of any? Have you read the book, Harvestfields of Death," which is a regimental history of the 20th? Lists Richard as being in Company K, the Monticello Rifles. It is in print. Written by Craig L. Dunn.
