Thank you for the response. I have very little on the Imes. I did receive another response with the following: Richard K. Imes/Martha Weirecke, Richard son of: George Imes b. ? Maryland/Elizabeth b.?, Maryland, son of: Richard Iams b. 1787/Mary Shidler b 1786, son of: Richard Iams b. 1745 and Elizabeth Pottenger, son of: John Iiams b 1716-1720 And Elizabeth LNU, son of: Richard Iams b 1673/Elizabeth Gaither, son of: William Imes b before 1640 (England) and Elizabeth Cheyney. Williams Iiams settled in South River Hundred, Anne Arundel County Md. Richard Iiams and Mary Shidler went to Green Co Pennsylvania. Richard Iiams (b1745) was a member of the Frederick Co Maryland Militia in 1776. Richard b 1787 was in the War of 1812. Richard K. b 1844 served in Company K (The Monticello Rifles) of the 20th Indiana from 1861 to 1865 and was wounded at Petersburg in 1864. See Craig C.
