According to my records, Elizabeth Imes, oldest daughter of John Frederick Ijams/Imes married Mephaboshell Harvey and from this union there were 5 children: Pryor/Prior, Zorababel, Thomas, John and Nancy. However, I cannot get the birth date or marriage date straight for Elizabeth. Either she married VERY young or the wrong age is given on the census records. Does anyone know approx. when she was born and when she married? John F. Imes married Mary Polly Johnson in Oglethorpe Co., GA in 1789 before they moved to Tennessee. According to most sources, their daughter Elizabeth was born in 1785??? Then her son Pryor/Prior supposedly was born in 1795 according to census records, but that cannot be. Who can help me straighten out this mess? I would be ever so grateful.
